What is this mystical “fold” of which you speak?
Good points about the overuse of cards, though. I think there’s a gut reaction of putting everything in a card, and then saying it’s Google-y or something, but it often creates too much distraction and visual discord. Cards should be used with different or wholly distinct pieces of content, or when like pieces of content have a separation of category or purpose… similar to how Medium uses them for each comment, but keeps a thread contained in one card.
