That is really interesting. To be honest, I’m squarely on the fence about the whole concept, but I’m also rooting for their bet to pay off. Something this wild is just too interesting to ignore and I’m not one to root against the little guy.

Also, I should say that my post was written a while ago, before the mass of videos came out. It looks like Tesla’s already made small but significant updates, such as moving the navigation menu from the right side to the left, closer to the driver.

Just those types of small changes make me feel confident that even though this is a risky move, they’re still able to change things to fix glaring issues. Current bugs or gripes are just an update away. I think the Model 3 we’ll see in a years time will be vastly better than the one that we’re seeing now.
