I actually think that the Model 3 could be better for accessibility. Blind people can’t drive, so I don’t know of any car that puts braille on driver’s controls. The screen, for sure, will not be sufficient for blind, or low visibility passengers, but the voice controls could obviate the need for that type of interaction. It could be inconvenient and unwieldy, but at the current speed of voice recognition and speech interfaces I think it’ll be much better suited once self-driving regulations are in place. It’ll be an interesting 2–5 years, to be sure.
